Ascorbyl Glucoside is an ultra-stable, water-soluble vitamin C derivative designed for performance and longevity in skincare. This formula has been thoughtfully developed with ingredients that are generally regarded as safe for use during pregnancy when applied topically and as directed.
It includes:
Clinically studied vitamins and actives: Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), Ascorbyl Glucoside (a stable form of Vitamin C), Alpha-Arbutin, Panthenol (Vitamin B5), and Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) — all widely used in pregnancy-safe skincare.
-Hydrators and skin-soothers: Glycerin, Saccharide Isomerate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Squalane, Jojoba Oil, Bisabolol, and Tomato & Kakadu Plum Extracts
-Brightening agent: Alpha-Arbutin is considered low risk when used topically, especially in well-formulated products.
However, please exercise caution: it is essential to apply sunscreen daily while using this product, as Alpha-Arbutin supports skin brightening and may increase sensitivity to UV exposure.
-Mild exfoliant: Lactic Acid — generally safe in low concentrations when used topically
-Preservatives and stabilisers: Sodium Levulinate, Sodium Anisate, Sodium Phytate, and others are used in low concentrations and are considered safe for pregnancy skincare
This formula does not contain retinoids, salicylic acid, essential oils at high levels, or other ingredients commonly flagged during pregnancy.
